COP28 today publishes its second round of official sponsors, as it continues to build towards this year’s climate conference in Dubai.
All sponsors are committed to driving towards net zero. Organizations have signed up to the UNbacked Race to Zero, or equivalent, or have signed up to the UAE Sustainable Companies Pledge.
The COP28 Sponsorship Committee, comprised of seven different internal COP28 departments, appointed an independent third party, EY, the global professional services consultancy, to validate commitments and to provide technical advice to COP28.
The COP28 Sponsorship Committee then reviewed and assessed the applications before deciding on sponsorship approval.
