In a meeting with the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi, the UAE’s Ambassador to Egypt Maryam Al Kaabi said that Egypt is an attractive destination for investments expressing UAE’s desire to strongly invest in the Egyptian oil and gas sector.
She highlighted the great expertise and potentials of the Egyptian oil and gas sector in addition to the opportunities of exchanging expertise and intensifying common efforts to achieve more success for the two countries.
Al Kaabi added that the successful integration between the two countries appeared clearly during COP 27 in Egypt and COP 28 in UAE which showed the extent of compatibility of visions between the two countries.
For his part, Badawi expressed his aspiration to deepen cooperation with UAE’s companies in the fields of exploration, refining, mining, and providing new technologies owned by UAE. He noted that the UAE’s oil companies working in Egypt have contributed to the great success achieved in the sector.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways of boosting cooperation between the two countries. At the end of the meeting, Badawi invited the ambassador to attend the Egypt Mining Forum that will be held on July 16.
